We’ve arrived at the "Syakaro Historic Trail" in Jianshi Township, Hsinchu County.
This trail stretches about 22 kilometers and is Taiwan’s first officially recognized national trail, offering unparalleled natural beauty. The trail winds through magnificent mountain forests and bamboo groves, and it’s also one of the most famous maple-viewing spots in Taiwan, with each season presenting a unique landscape that draws many visitors. We’ve specially invited an expert deeply familiar with this mountain area, an Atayal tribe member known as the "Mr. Yeh," who will guide us in exploring the historical stories of the Atayal people during the Japanese colonial era along the "Syakaro Historic Trail," and share with us the tribe’s life wisdom and rich cultural context in these mountains.
